Painter, Jorge Diaz presents still life, floral and landscapes in oil with enthusiasm and commitment to his subject.
Working from home, he paints with gratefulness and pure enjoyment for the art of painting. In these moments he can materialize with excitement the beauty of his theme.
He uses brush or painting knife. When using painting knives, He may start the art work with a foundation of brushed paint then pursue pure colors from the tubes that he applies to the canvas with delicate strokes. Applying wet on wet –light over dark- colors as a final touch is one of his favorite techniques. When using a brush, he goes for the more realistic work, applying layers one on top of the other developing a great foundation in the work. The results he attains are of a remarkable beauty and an outstanding statement.
